Two illegal warehouses were discovered and liquidated in the Kyiv region, where significant amounts of spare parts for heavy military weapons were stored, in particular for air defense systems (ADS) and artillery.
Information about this was released by representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police, who jointly conducted an operation to uncover these warehouses.
We are talking about more than 3.5 thousand components for anti-aircraft missile systems and artillery systems, as well as engines for armored vehicles.

“Within the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (embezzlement, embezzlement of property or taking possession of it through abuse of official position), an investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring the perpetrators to justice,” the SBU statement says.
The department recalled that in August 2023, law enforcement officers exposed the same suspects in an attempt to sell 80 tank engines to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at a threefold inflated price. The perpetrators face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. The complex measures were carried out under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office.
