On July 16, law enforcement officers conducted searches at the Central Office of the Arterium Pharmaceutical Corporation, owned by the businessman and policy of Konstantin Zhevago. The searches also took place on production sites in Kiev and Lviv. This is the third force operation against the company over the last three years-the previous ones were conducted in 2022 and February 2025.
The investigation suspects the company in the illegal sale of medicines in the Russian Federation. At the same time, the arterium categorically deny all prosecutions. The corporation's statement states that it does not provide any supply to Russia or Belarus, and the emergence of their products in these markets may be the result of recapation by third -party intermediaries.
Konstantin Zhevago himself regarded searches as a form of political pressure related to his civic position and political activity. The businessman called the actions of security officers "another act of persecution."
We will remind, in February 2025 the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine applied sanctions to Zhevago, providing for the full blocking of its assets. Nevertheless, according to the investigation, it continues to control part of the property - in particular through the company Tickwell Company, which, without active economic activity, acquired a monument of architecture in the center of Kiev for UAH 292 million.
This agreement was financed through a chain of related persons in the form of return financial assistance - bypassing financial monitoring. In addition, at the same time as the change of the Tikvel Company's beneficiary, law enforcement officers record attempts to keep the control over the assets that were to be blocked.
