The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a large -scale theft of UAH 60 million, which were paid to the help of seriously ill. As it turned out, officials of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA), together with accomplices, instead of purchasing medicines and medical services, cost budget costs for elite cars and real estate.
The SBU is deliberately involved in the scheme two deputy head of the department of social and veteran policy of the KSCA, the commercial director of the contracting company and the former high -ranking official of the KSCA, who Nini manages the Metropolitan Psychiatric Hospital. He, according to investigators, controls the company that won the tender for the provision of palliative care.
According to the investigation, the total amount of the contract between the KSCA and the contractor was UAH 149. Some of these funds were to go to free medical services, the purchase of medicines and food for seriously ill. However, much of the money was appropriated by the attackers, using them for their own needs.
In addition, instead of specialized transport for transportation of assistance, the defendants of the case purchased elite cars. For example, the Porsche Cayenne SUV, which was intended for patients, was actually used by the officials themselves.
One of the suspects - the owner of a contracting company - also illegally received 2 groups of disability, which allowed him to avoid mobilization and go abroad. At the same time, he continued to receive retirement payments from the state.
Currently, all four defendants have been convinced of the articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the ownership of budget funds, fraud and forgery. They are threatened with up to 12 years of payment of freedom.
