The SBU detained a 17-year-old spy who "worked" on the occupiers

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a 17-year-old resident of Kharkiv region, who was recruited by Russian special services for espionage at the locations of the Ukrainian military. The teenager acted at the instructions of Telegram curators and transmitted information about the movement and dislocation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, a minor agent was made in exchange for "light money". In order to perform the tasks, he traveled by buses in the eastern regions of Ukraine and seamlessly removed military infrastructure.

"During one of these sorts, the attacker shot a military column to the front. Also, masking his actions, he explained to the local residents and the military, who was allegedly looking for a post office when he actually studied positions near the object," the SBU reported.

After returning home, the guy passed the collected "report" to the Russian curators. The enemy planned to use this information to apply new rocket strokes in the regions.

The spy has now been detained, it is in custody. He faces up to 12 years of imprisonment under the article on treason.

The SBU reminds that the recruitment of Ukrainians through social networks, including Telegram, is one of the main methods of work of Russian special services. Call citizens to be vigilant and report suspicious actions or contacts.
