The Security Service of Ukraine reports the detention of a former People's Deputy from the "Party of Regions" while trying to leave Ukraine.
We are talking about Vladyslav Lukyanov.
He was detained at a checkpoint in Odesa region. Lukyanov wanted to leave Ukraine on the grounds that he had reached the non-conscription age of 60.
However, he was not released because he is accused of collaborating with the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, after the seizure of part of the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of the Russian Federation, Lukyanov re-registered his Internet provider under Russian law and paid taxes to the Russian budget. And also, according to the SBU, he gave the FSB access to equipment "that made it possible to monitor the Internet activity of the local population."
At the same time, the deputy himself was in the territory controlled by Ukraine.
Also, the SBU declares, he publicly "justified the aggression of the Russian Federation in chats of Telegram channels."
