The Security Service of Ukraine continues to combat the Russian agent network, operating in the frontline areas of Donetsk region. In the course of countertoing measures, two enemy agencies were detained, who worked at the FSB and handed over to the occupiers the coordinates of Ukrainian military positions.
Both suspects acted separately. One of them is a 47-year-old resident of Dachne. According to the case file, she cited Russian air strikes in the locations of defense forces in the Pokrovsky direction.
Under the "sight" of the Russians were radio electronic struggle and firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which covers the advanced infantry units of the Ukrainian troops.
To collect information, the woman bypassed the terrain near the collision line and recorded the coordinates of potential goals.
The data she obtained with a messenger was sent to her Russian curator in the form of text messages in anonymous chat.
Feeling the inevitability of punishment, the traitor went to Dnipropetrovsk, where she tried to "lie down to the bottom". However, the counterintelligence of the SBU established its location and detained in the rented home.
Another FSB agent was a 44-year-old resident of the village of Illinivka near Konstantinovka. The malefactor helped the assault groups of the invaders to attack the battle positions of the defenders of the time ravine.
For this purpose, the suspect tried to identify and pass on to the Russians the location of the fortifications and routes the movement of Ukrainian troops.
During the searches, both malefactors seized mobile phones with evidence of their contacts with the Russian special service.
The SBU investigators informed them of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law).
The malefactors are in custody. They are threatened with life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
Counter -core measures were carried out by SBU staff in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
