In Vinnitsa, the Security Service of Ukraine disrupted a terrorist attack, which was prepared by a group of agents of Russian GRU. The attackers - two women from Kyiv region and a resident of Vinnitsa - acted according to the instructions from Moscow and aimed to blow up the car of the Ukrainian military, and later - the building of the local police department.
This was reported in the SBU press service.
The investigation found that the enemy planned to eliminate the Ukrainian warrior through a remotely managed explosive. A homemade explosive device (SVP), disguised into a thermos, had to work after calling a mobile phone connected.
While one of the agents produced the SVP and filled it with screws - for maximum damage, others prepared the crime scene. It was when installing a surveillance chamber near the object that saboteurs and fell into the hands of counterintelligence.
Two women from the Kiev region were recruited through Telegram - they offered "fast earnings" for the performance of individual tasks. After recruiting, the Russian curators directed them to Vinnitsa, where they rented the apartment at their expense. After that, they handed over the coordinates of the shrub, from which women took away two homemade explosive devices.
A 33-year-old local resident was also involved in the case-it was he who was engaged in the technical production of explosives. At the instructions of the curators, he prepared the filling for the terrorist attack.
After a car undermining the military, the invaders prepared a second act - this time near the police building. But at this stage, the counterintelligence was already ahead of the ahead: three suspects were detained, the SVP was removed.
All defendants have already declared suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code - State betrayal in the conditions of martial law. The sanction provides for life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
During the searches, they found phones with correspondence with representatives of the Russian special services, as well as the devices ready for use.
