Seven lecturers of the State University "Kyiv Aviation Institute" were included in the ranking of the two percent of the most cited scientists in the world according to Elsevier and Stanford University. The ranking is based on data from the Scopus database and is considered one of the most authoritative indicators of scientific impact in the world. Getting into it means that the works of scientists are actively cited by colleagues from all over the world, recognizing their significance and relevance.
The ranking includes representatives of the Faculty of Aeronautics, Electronics and Telecommunications: Viktor Syneglazov, Ivan Ostroumov, Oleksandr Solomentsev, Olga Sushchenko, Natalia Kuzmenko, Maksym Zalyskyi and Yulia Averyanova. Among them are Doctors of Technical Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy, Professors and Senior Research Fellows of the Departments of Aviation Systems, Telecommunications and Radio Electronics.
The university notes that this is recognition not only of the personal achievements of the scientists, but also of the power of the KAI scientific school. Scientists work on flight safety, the development of artificial intelligence in aviation, telecommunications and navigation systems, and radar, shaping the future of Ukrainian science.
Despite international recognition, KAI teachers continue to actively develop education, improving the qualifications of students and involving them in advanced scientific research.
