Famous Ukrainian comedian Serhiy Sereda, husband of singer MamaRika, in a new interview with OBOZ.UA spoke about the difficult period in their relationship and how the couple was able to restore intimacy. Last year, the couple publicly spoke about the crisis in their marriage, and now Sereda confirmed that working on the relationship took a long time and required efforts from both.
Sereda noted that the turning point came about a year ago — then they began to “correct certain points” and learn to live in partnership. According to him, this does not mean a complete absence of disputes, but now conflicts help to better express thoughts and find the truth, if you act not emotionally. “We came to this only a year ago. We had a serious crisis, and we began to correct certain points, learn to live in partnership,” he said.
The comedian added that they still have arguments, sometimes with threats of divorce, but this is part of a normal relationship and does not mean the end. "Do threats of divorce creep into arguments? Yes, every second quarrel is inevitable. But only I know where our marriage certificate is," Serhiy noted and emphasized that he continues to love his wife.
Sereda also recalled the beginning of their relationship: he told how he felt that Nastya would become his wife after they met, and even promised her this on one of their first dates. They have been together for over ten years, five of them married. They are raising a son, David, who is now four years old.
