In the Chernivtsi region, a 15-year-old girl got into a fraudulent trap, believing in the promises of fast earnings. She has transferred 548 thousand hryvnias to unknown accounts allegedly for employment, reports the police of the region.
A 40-year-old resident was told about the incident of law enforcement officers. According to him, her daughter found an announcement of distance work in one of the social networks. Communication with the "employer" took place online. Unknown persons gradually lured money, allegedly for registration, preparation of documents or launch of a "office".
As a result, the child, without consulting with adults, transferred the money raised to the family by fraudsters - the total amount reached UAH 548 thousand.
Police opened criminal proceedings under Article 190 (1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - fraud. The investigation is ongoing, law enforcement officers identify persons involved in the crime.

Law enforcement officers once again emphasize that there is an increase in the number of Internet fraud, when scammers offer easy earnings and make money ahead.
In order not to be the victim of fraud, experts advise:

do not send funds to strangers or unclear details;

Do not go on suspicious links - it can be phishing;
