On Sunday, November 10, Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Zorya Luhansk 3-1 at the Lviv Arena in the 13th round of the Ukrainian Premier League. Although the Miners conceded first, they managed to turn the tide of the game in the second half.

However, after the break, Shakhtar rallied and equalized in the 51st minute thanks to a penalty converted by Artem Bondarenko. A few minutes later, in the 54th minute, Kevin Kelsey put Shakhtar ahead, scoring the second goal against Zorya. In added time, Jordan cut the ball into his own net, trying to intercept Zubkov's pass, which sealed the victory for the Miners.
