Today, the believers honor the memory of the Holy Holy Martyr Janarius and his associates who died for the faith in the III century. There are several important dates in the world - in particular, World Creativity and Innovation Day, International Hemp Day and Crown Day. This day also matters in the history of Ukraine and the world.
Church holiday
St. Janarius, whose memory is honored on April 21, was a Bishop of Benevent. During the persecution of Christians during the time of Emperor Diocletian, he went to the city of Potzuoli to support the prisoners. There he was arrested with the deacons of the festival, the Prokul, the Sosiy, the reader of Desideri and Christians Evtihii and the Aacuntion. Despite the torture, the saints remained adamant. According to legend, even after they were thrown into the stove, they came out intact. Everyone was killed in a martyrdom - they were wandered.
After the death of Janarius, the miracle is associated with him: his blood collected in the ampoule is stored to this day in Naples. It periodically goes into a rare state, which is considered a sign of the patronage of the saint.
