The Cabinet of Ministers approved Mykola Kalashnik, a close associate of Timur Tkachenko, to the post of head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (OVA). The appointment of an official who started his career only in 2017 raises many questions.
Kalashnik began his professional activity in 2017 as the chief specialist of the department of communal property of Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. It was from that moment on his family that there was a strange increase in well -being.
It is interesting that in recent years the grandmother of Kalashnik's wife, Tatiana Raven, began to actively buy real estate.
- 2017 - it became the owner of an apartment in Kiev on regenerative street, although she lives in Kropyvnytskyi.
- 2020 - purchased a commercial premises in Kropyvnytskyi.
- 2022 - Kalashnik's mother, Valentina, also became the owner of the apartment on the same regenerative street in Kiev.
- 2024 - Grandmother "Sprise" received a building of 1260.7 m² in Kropyvnytskyi.
Timur Tkachenko, known for his corruption schemes and connections with Oleg Tatarov's environment, has the actual influence on the appointment of Kalashnik. His "promotion" of Kalashnik to a strategic position raises the question of the purpose of such a personnel decision.
While Kalashnik himself avoids comments on the origin of family property, it is logical to assume that his appointment can be another link in the schemes of distribution of land resources and communal property of Kyiv region.
Will this appointment will be the beginning of new corruption frauds in the capital region? The question that can only be answered by further investigations.
