Marriage Treaty in Trend: In Ukraine, the number of contracts increased by 7%

In 2024, Ukrainians concluded 2 762 marriage treaties, which is 7% more than last year. About it reports the analytical service of OPENDABOT .

Statistics show that marriage treaties are becoming more and more popular with Ukrainians. If in 2023 there were more than 60 marriages for one contract, then in 2024 this figure decreased - now for every 54 marriages one contract is concluded.

“2 762 marriage contracts were registered last year. This is 7% more than in 2023. However, this is still one third less than in 2021. On the eve of a full -scale war, Ukrainians made a record number of marital contracts - 4 099, ”the message reads.

It is also noted that there are only 1 marriage contract for 54 marriages. In 2023, this figure was much smaller - 1 contract for 72 marriages.

In 2024, 495 090 deaths were registered in Ukraine against 176,679 births. The birth leader was Kyiv, and for the most deaths were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In addition, marriages were most registered in Kyiv - 20 thousand 862, and Kyiv is the largest city in terms of marriage dissolution records - 4407.
