Shmyhal announces improvements in the energy sector by the end of July

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced the planned improvement of the energy situation by the end of July.

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, he reported that due to the effects of intense shelling and heat, hourly power outages continue. However, by the 20th of July, it is planned to complete repair work on some generating facilities, which will increase the power system capacity and reduce the duration of outages.

In addition, Shmyhal said that the government has developed and already partially implemented a set of measures aimed at increasing energy sustainability among the population and enterprises.

"We expect that by July 25 all these mechanisms will be functioning at full capacity," the Prime Minister concluded, emphasizing the complexity of the situation in the energy sector.
