The staff of the TCC is almost one hundred thousand people - Maryana Bezugla

The deputy head of the defense committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Maryana Bezugla reported that the staff of Territorial Procurement Centers (TCC) is almost one hundred thousand people.

She criticized claims that the Cabinet will raise taxes in order to find an additional 500 billion for the army, because she believes that the army does not need new "zombie brigades". In addition, according to her, there are thousands of "dead souls" in the Armed Forces.

"The absurdity of the planning situation lies in the fact that no one in the Ministry of Defense and the Cabinet of Ministers is trying to assess whether it is correct or expedient for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to submit their request, and whether it is worth, for example, creating new ineffective "zombie brigades" instead of replenishing and strengthening existing units, increasing the headquarters and keeping the unfit in the army," Bezugla wrote.

"The creation of one such brigade costs at least UAH 20 billion. There is not a single expert in the government who would evaluate the expediency of the endless desire of the head of the Armed Forces and his General Staff to turn the entire country into infantry. Thousands of "dead souls" in the army are also not appreciated by anyone. Only the staff of the TCC and SP is almost one hundred thousand (!) people," Bezugla writes.
