A sharp drop in temperature, accompanied by frost, is forecast in Ukraine at the end of next week. This was reported by well-known weather forecaster Natalka Didenko on her Facebook page.
According to her, after April 6, night frosts are possible, and the daytime temperature will drop to +5…+10°C. This will be a tangible contrast after the rather warm weather observed in the country now.
Forecaster of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Natalia Ptukha noted that during this week, typical spring weather with periodic rains will persist in Ukraine. Atmospheric fronts passing through the country will cause precipitation, especially in the northern and central regions.
Periods of rain are expected to alternate with clearings. In particular, on Wednesday and Friday, Ukrainians will be able to see more sun. The temperature background will remain stable, as a moist and relatively warm air mass is arriving in the country from the south.
Temperature forecast:
-
By March 28, the night temperature will be +2°…+8°, and during the day +8°…+14°.
-
In the southern regions and Transcarpathia, warming to +18°C is possible.
-
On the night of March 28, the temperature will fluctuate within +1°…+7°, during the day +7°…+13°.
-
In the eastern and southern regions it will be warmer – up to +20°C during the day.
-
On March 29, the temperature background will remain unchanged. In the southern part of Ukraine, warming to +23°C is possible.
Precipitation is expected mainly in the northern, central, and partly western regions. No significant rain is forecast in the remaining regions.
However, starting next week, the situation will change - a sharp cold snap and night frosts could become a serious challenge for farmers and gardeners.
