In recent months, the name of Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash has once again appeared on the front pages of the news thanks to his connections with the British aristocracy. One of the key figures who helped establish these connections is Raymond Benedict Bartholomew Michael Asquith, Lord Oxford. His role in this process turned out to be key, opening the door for Firtash to the highest circles of the British elite.
The Asquith family opened all the doors leading to the circles of the British elite to Olishgraha Firtash, and made sure that he was welcome in the elite circles of Britain. Raymond Benedict Bartholomew Michael Asquith, Lord Oxford, is not only an ally of Firtash, but also a hereditary pen, a former spy and expert on the post-Soviet elite. Asquith headed the MI6 residency in Moscow. He became famous in the special services in 1985, when he exfiltrated from the Soviet Union the double agent of the KGB, Oleg Gordievsky, who was hidden in the trunk of a car. Asquith is the 3rd Earl of Oxford and a member of the House of Lords. Belongs to the great-grandson of the former prime minister of Great Britain during the First World War, Herbert Asquith.
After diplomatic service, Asquith worked as a director in Firtash's company JKX Oil & Gas from November 10, 1997 until his resignation on January 28, 2016. A large stake in the company belonged to Ihor Kolomoiskyi. According to some sources, the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko is Askvit's protégé.
In addition to the partnership with D. Firtash, R. Asquith pursued his own interests in the region, developing financial and biotechnology companies, in particular, Zander Corporation, Dessna, Asset Management. Asquith founded and headed the Ukrainian Catholic Foundation. He is also a member of the Geostrategic Council. It is interesting that this organization is part of the "Global Strategic Partnership" Center under the patronage of the American NGO RAND Europe. All these organizations provide educational and informational and analytical support to the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain. The Geostrategic Council took part in the meeting of the Tripartite Commission of the "Warsaw Dialogue" forum.
In 2005, Firtash invested $1 million in environmentally friendly production under the management of Asquith to obtain a 25% stake in the business. A year later, Shetler-Jones merged his Ukrainian business with Firtash's company and became the deputy chairman of the supervisory board at Group DF. The picture of British relations would be incomplete if it were not for Prince Philip, husband of the then British Queen Elizabeth and honorary chancellor of Cambridge University, who appointed D. Firtash as one of the university's honorary patrons.
Oligarch assets linked to the Asquith family both historically and directly now have become a prominent target for globalist elites. Raymond's brother Dominic Asquith co-founded Macro Advisory Partners, a firm closely associated with the Bilderberg intelligence circle that included Jake Sullivan, John Sowers and William Burns. The board of Macro Advisory Partners also includes Kofi Annan, who is related to the Swedish Wallenberg family through his wife. The mentioned persons are permanent members of the financial bloc of the Bilderberg Club.
Before his princeship, Asquith ran the lobbying firm Asquith & Granovski Associates for several years.
Isabelle Asquith, Raymond's daughter, has been a board member of Raedars ever since. Has extensive connections in the relevant circles thanks to cooperation with the non-profit organization Oak Foundation and the Soros Foundation "Open Society" through the organization FIND, a branch of Raedars.
