Famous Ukrainian singer Olena Topolya frankly admitted how much her family spends each month for a comfortable life in the capital.
In a conversation with blogger Angelina Pychyk, the artist explained that the main expense item is supporting three children who attend kindergarten, school, and additional classes.
" I need a lot. We have a big family, we have three children who go to kindergarten, school, and classes, and we are two artists who need a lot of expenses ," Topolya emphasized.
Separately, the performer noted that after the Russian missile strike on Kyiv on June 23, which damaged her and Taras Topole's home, a significant portion of the income goes to repairs.
" Now, especially after the 'arrival', we have expenses for renovating our home, so we need more money. It's about 200 thousand hryvnias per month. For now, we're still spending the night at our parents', because they have good shelter. During the day, we spend time in the apartment, because we're renovating. There are already windows, some cabinets are already in place. The kitchen has a working stove, oven, and sink ," the singer said.
Thus, the family of artists spends about 200 thousand hryvnias every month, most of which goes to the children and the restoration of damaged housing.
