Ukrainian singer Olena Topolya admitted that she has been receiving a lot of criticism for her appearance on social media lately. In particular, she has been compared to another famous artist, Nastya Kamensky, who is said to look more attractive.
Topol decided not to ignore such comments and gave a public response to the haters. The artist emphasized that comparing people with each other is a way to devalue the uniqueness of each individual.
"I don't see any point in comparing at all, because where you start comparing, you lose the true meaning, exclusivity and understanding and realization that everything that is created is created with love," she noted.
The singer added that Nastya Kamensky is indeed about 50 centimeters taller, so she may seem more attractive to some - and this is absolutely normal. At the same time, Olena urged her fans not to focus on appearance, not to compare themselves with others and to learn to accept their individuality.
“Take care of what you have, take care of it, and never compare yourself to others or anyone else,” the artist addressed her followers.
With her statement, Topolya once again emphasized the importance of self-acceptance, despite any public condemnation.
