Ukrainian singer Slavia, the ex-wife of artist Dzidzjo (Mykhailo Khomy), announced that she will become a mother for the first time. She announced this not on social networks or in an interview, but in a symbolic way - through the final frame of her new music video "Girl with Pepper".
In the final seconds of the video, the singer, whose real name is Yaroslava Khoma, appears in a red dress and shows off her rounded belly, holding it with her hands. This is how she confirmed her pregnancy.
This unexpected gesture came as a surprise to fans, as Slavia had not previously mentioned any personal changes in her life. It is only known that she received a lot of attention from men last year, but she did not publicly talk about her new relationship.
The song itself, “Girl with Pepper,” is dedicated to the strength of Ukrainian women. In it, the artist sings about independence, self-esteem, and a new stage in life, which is likely her upcoming motherhood.
As a reminder, Slavia and Dzidzho were married since 2013, but in 2021 the couple officially divorced. Their relationship lasted 20 years, eight of which were in marriage. The reason for the breakup, according to Mikhail, was a misunderstanding: “A triangle married a square, and the two of them came up with the perfect round door to their home.”.
Slavia admitted that she dreamed of a child during her marriage, but her husband was not ready for it at that time. He did not support her aspirations to build a solo career. After the divorce, Yaroslava is actively working on her own music and seems to be experiencing personal happiness.
