Slovak truckers prepare for strike on border with Ukraine

Slovak carriers plan to resume their strike on the border with Ukraine this afternoon, December 11. The Slovak Carriers' Union announced this on its Facebook page.

“Entry into the territory of the Slovak Republic for freight transport will be blocked. Passenger transport will not be restricted in any way. The decision was made based on an assessment of the information received and its impact on the Slovak road transport market. Thus, we join the protests organized in Poland from 6.11.2023, and from 11.12.2023 in Hungary,” the message says.

Slovak carriers are going to block the Vyšné Německé border crossing from 3 p.m.
