Slovenia will sign an important security agreement with Ukraine

On Thursday, June 27, Slovenian President Natasha Pirc Musar will arrive in Kyiv to sign a significant bilateral security agreement. This was reported by TV Slovenija.

The security agreement was jointly prepared by the ministries of defense and foreign affairs of both countries. This document, although it does not have the status of a binding international agreement, is an expression of political will for the purpose of long-term support for Ukraine, which the governments of both countries plan to introduce next week.

Emphasizing the importance of supporting Ukraine, Natasha Pirts Musar noted: "Ukraine actually protects the entire structure of international law."

She also emphasized that the agreement will be similar to those signed by other countries and expressed her belief that this is a necessary step to maintain international security and law and order.

"We are talking about taking on the obligation to help Ukraine with this agreement as much as it will be necessary," she added.
