The majority of Ukrainians provided financial support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2025. According to the results of the sociological study “Problems of Social Cohesion in Ukraine”, 83% of citizens sent funds for the needs of the army.
In particular, 31% of respondents reported that they do it constantly, 39% - from time to time, and another 13% - only occasionally. Only 16% of respondents admitted that they have never donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Sociologists note that the most active financial support for the army is provided by younger people and citizens with a higher level of wealth. In addition to money, Ukrainians actively help the military in other ways. 58% of respondents said that they provide non-financial support, 15% of whom do it regularly. A significant part of the population is also involved in volunteer activities. 70% of those surveyed have helped refugees, displaced persons or people with disabilities at least once. 12% of the study participants do this regularly.
Recall that in Ukraine, upon retirement, citizens can choose between an old-age insurance pension and social assistance. The second option is possible even without having any work experience.
