Former patrol inspector from Izmail Maksym Standratyuk left Ukraine with his boyfriend. As it turned out, he is the son of Serhiy Standratyuk, a deputy of the Safyansk village council of Izmail district from the Servant of the People party, who has also held the position of secretary of this council since August 2022. This was reported by the Dumskaya newspaper.
According to law enforcement sources, it was the father who organized his son's trip abroad. Maksym Standratyuk previously worked in the Izmail patrol police, where he temporarily served as deputy chief of the department for some time. However, after a series of incidents, including drunk driving, he was transferred to Odessa to the position of an ordinary inspector.
" Without his father's support in Odessa, it was clear that he would be among the first candidates for the front, which is why his father decided to take him abroad, " an insider told the publication.
The patrol police confirmed that Standratyuk temporarily served as deputy chief of the Izmail patrol police only in the past and long before the current events. The agency emphasized that he " will be held accountable for his actions in accordance with current legislation ."
Information about his departure appeared a few days after the media reported on the illegal crossing of the border by an officer of the Izmail patrol police.
