After returning to Ukraine from the United States, singer Olena Topol (Slavia) confesses that she was no longer the one that was until 2022. Personal transformations, internal changes and a new look at life - all this was the result of forced separation from a man, war and long stay abroad.
"Otherwise, she began to treat any values in life, to cherish different moments," says the artist. Now the main thing for her is sincerity, spiritual connection and depth of relationships. Although Taras Topol also survived its changes at the front, their transformations were different. "I cannot create experience for another person, because it does not work so," she explains.
The war not only influenced her attitude to values, but also became the impetus for rethinking herself as a woman, mother, artist. She returned to Ukraine with children - despite all the risks, because she trusts her intuition: "If you listen to the fears of others, you lose yourself."
Poplar recognizes that changes in relationships with her husband are noticeable, but they have the most valuable thing - love, common goals and sincere dialogue. “We agreed: to tell each other frankly. It helps a lot, ”she notes.
And now, when there is difficult surgery, postpartum stress and long months of forced silence in music, Elena returns to herself - strong, independent and sincere. “I finish with pop. There will be pop rock. Finally, ”she says with a smile.
