Ukrainian singer Melovin, known for his artistry and participation in Eurovision, was in the center of the media scandal. Show business blogger and observer Bogdan Bespalov accused the singer of trying to make money on young talent, in particular because of the allegedly too rigid terms of contracts.
In his video, Bespalov said Melovin had previously planned to produce a young performer under the ISKRA pseudonym, but did not happen. According to the blogger, the reason was that the singer was amazed at the terms of the contract that she was offered.
"The MELOVIN contract is drawn up in the best traditions of Papa Music - a real slavery, which was clearly not wanted by ISKRA," Bespalov says.
Also, according to him, after discussions with his mother and colleagues, the ISKRA allegedly decided to give up cooperation.
Bespalov added that Melovin continues to look for other young artists who could agree to similar conditions. According to his version, the artist's motivation is only commercial interest.
As of the time of the publication, Melovin did not publicly commented on these statements. There were no official denials or confirmations on the part of its representatives, as well as any public statements from the ISKRA singer.
This case again actualized the discussion of the conditions of production agreements in domestic show business, which often become the subject of discussions among musicians, lawyers and audiences.
