In Ukraine, on April 17 and 18, weather forecasters predict mostly dry and sunny weather, with gradual warming. Daytime temperatures in most regions will reach +18…+23°, and in Transcarpathia even up to +26°. This is reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
On Wednesday, April 17, the country will be under the influence of an anticyclone. Clear weather will prevail, without precipitation, except for Chernihiv and Sumy regions, where slight rain is possible at night. The wind is expected to be southeast, with a speed of 7–12 m/s.
At night, the temperature will fluctuate within +5…+10°, during the day – +18…+23°, in the western regions – up to +26°.
No precipitation is forecast in Kyiv on April 17. At night +8…+10°, during the day the air will warm up to +20…+22°. According to the Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the record heat on this day in the capital was recorded in 1956 — +25.2°, and the lowest temperature (-5.3°) was in 1929.
On Thursday, April 18, the weather will not change significantly. It will be mostly dry and warm, only in Transcarpathia and Prykarpattia, short-term rains with thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon.
Nighttime temperatures will be +7…+12°, daytime temperatures will be +18…+23°, in the west of the country warming up to +26° is possible again. The wind will remain southeast, 7–12 m/s.
In Kyiv on April 18, it will be clear again and without precipitation. At night +10…+12°, during the day – +20…+22°.
Forecasters note that spring is confidently coming into its own, and the coming days will be a real gift for those who are tired of prolonged rains and cool weather.
