The beginning of the new week will please Ukrainians with real spring warmth and sunny weather. On Monday, April 21, forecasters predict dry and comfortable weather conditions in most parts of the country. The air temperature during the day will reach +26°C in some places, which creates all the conditions for walks and outdoor recreation. At the same time, a warning of extreme fire danger has been announced in a number of regions.
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, in most regions of Ukraine on April 21, variable cloudiness will be observed without significant precipitation. Only in the South of the country, short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible. At night, the thermometer will drop to +8…+13°C, during the day the temperature will rise to +21…+26°C. In the Carpathians and on the sea coast, it will be somewhat cooler — from +15 to +20°C.
The wind is forecast to be variable in direction, not strong — 3–8 m/s, without sharp gusts.
Forecasters are paying special attention to the situation with the water level in rivers. Due to precipitation in mountainous areas, the water level on the Prut River (Chernivtsi - state border), as well as on the Dniester section (Nyzhniv - Zalishchyky) may rise by up to 0.5–1 meter. However, experts assure that there is no threat of floods.
At the same time, due to the prolonged lack of precipitation, an extraordinary level of fire danger remains in the northern, central and Kharkiv regions. Residents are urged not to light fires in open areas, not to burn dry grass and to be careful when outdoors.
Thus, April 21 promises to be a warm and mostly sunny day in spring. However, citizens should remain vigilant in risk areas and follow basic safety rules.
