Spring continues to delight Ukrainians with warmth, but the comfortable weather will be overshadowed by strong gusts of wind. On Tuesday, March 11, forecasters predict a significant increase in wind, as well as precipitation in some regions of the country.
High temperature but restless atmosphere
According to weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, spring warmth will persist in most of Ukraine, with air temperatures ranging from +10 to +17°C. It will be warmest in the west and south of the country, where thermometers can reach +18°C. However, this comfortable temperature background will be accompanied by stormy gusts of wind.
Winds are expected to reach speeds of 15-20 m/s, with even stronger gusts possible in some areas. Because of this, forecasters advise to be careful, especially near old trees, advertising structures, and power lines.
Rain and cloudiness in some regions
According to the forecast, precipitation will cover the western, northern and central regions. Residents of Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions can expect rain of varying intensity. Dry weather will prevail in the east and south of the country, but the wind will not bypass these regions either.
What do weather forecasters advise?
Due to bad weather, it is worth following a few simple safety rules:
- Avoid being under trees and near structures that may fall.
- Do not leave cars under billboards or old trees.
- Dress according to weather conditions, taking into account wind gusts.
Overall, Ukraine will be warm but windy on March 11, with occasional rain. Be prepared for changes in the weather and plan your day accordingly.
