An attempt to set fire to the territorial assembly center in Zaporizhzhia

In Zaporizhzhia, they tried to set fire to one of the territorial centers of recruitment and social support. This information was disseminated by the press service of the GUNP in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to the report, on May 11, 2024, information was registered in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations on the basis of part 1 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, regarding the fact of a terrorist act by setting fire to the territorial recruitment and social support center on Shevchenko Street in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

Today, May 13, the materials of the proceedings were sent to the Shevchenkiv District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Zaporizhia for the appointment of appropriate actions with the participation of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region.

According to the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Yury Hlushchenkov, after updating the information in the territorial recruitment center, separate summonses will be sent to the military medical commission through the conscript's electronic cabinet.
