The situation in the Velika Novosilka area of the Donetsk region is becoming increasingly tense. The Russian occupying forces do not stop trying to break through the defense of the Armed Forces, using new tactics and concentrating significant forces in the area. Analysis of data by the DeepState project and military experts highlights the complexity and strategic importance of this settlement.
The main fighting is concentrated between the villages of Rivnopil and Makarivka , where Russian forces are trying to find weak points in the defense of the Armed Forces. The occupiers use infantry assault groups on motorcycles, armored vehicles and try to organize frontal attacks, which, however, have been unsuccessful.
To compensate for the failures, the Russians are trying to bypass the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through Blagodatne . One of these attempts was to break into the village of Novy Komar , which is an important logistics hub for Velika Novosilka. However, the Defense Forces quickly carried out a sweep, knocking the occupiers out of their positions.
The enemy does not stop trying to gain a foothold in the captured territories. In the immediate vicinity of Velika Novosilka, the occupiers are building advanced fortifications, saturating these places with infantry.
DeepState analysts note that small groups of infantry continue to storm Ukrainian positions, trying to create constant pressure on the defenders. Meanwhile, the enemy is increasing the concentration of forces in this direction, trying to create conditions for a semi-encirclement of the city.
According to military expert Serhii Zgurets, Velika Novosilka is a key stronghold and an important logistical hub for the defense line of the Armed Forces in the region. Control over this settlement allows you to ensure supplies, organize effective defense and maintain stability in neighboring areas.
At the beginning of December, it became known that the situation near Velika Novosilka has worsened: two of the three roads leading to the settlement are under the control of the Russians. This creates a threat of semi-encirclement, which can greatly complicate the defense of the Armed Forces.
Despite the efforts of the occupiers, the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrate high resilience and effectively stop the advance of the enemy. However, the continuation of intensive assaults and attempts to block logistical routes require additional resources and efforts to strengthen defensive positions.
