The USA announced a new military aid package for Ramstein

At a recent meeting of the Ramstein contact group, a new $500 million aid package for Ukraine from the Biden administration was announced. According to the statement of US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, this package will include missiles for air defense systems (ADF), air-to-surface missiles, ammunition, as well as equipment for the F-16.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at this meeting addressed the allies with the remark that, although he is grateful for the supply of air defense systems, Ukraine needs to receive what was promised earlier. He expressed hope that promises of additional military aid would be fulfilled.

According to journalists, after the allocation of this package for 500 million dollars, a significant part of the unused funds, namely about 3.8 billion dollars, will remain at the disposal of the American administration, in particular, it can be transferred in the event of a change in the political situation, in particular, in the case of a possible return of Donald Trump to authorities
