Stefanchuk's brother receives a pension due to confirmation of disability in Khmelnytskyi MSEK

Mykola Stefanchuk, a deputy from the Servant of the People party from Khmelnytskyi and the younger brother of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, became the object of attention after it became known that he receives a pension due to confirmation of disability issued by the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Expert Commission.

Stefanchuk has been declaring his disability pension since 2019. He received confirmation of his diagnosis in Khmelnytskyi, where at that time the scandalous Tetyana Krupa was the head of the commission. It is worth noting that the future “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine” graduated with honors in Law from the Khmelnytskyi Institute of Regional Administration and Law in 2003. Three years later, Stefanchuk became an associate professor at the department of this institute, perhaps not without the influence of his family.

As stated in the declaration, Stefanchuk earned UAH 800,000 in the Verkhovna Rada in 2023. But these are not his only incomes – he also declared UAH 42,000 in salary received at the Research Institute of Intellectual Property and UAH 477,000 at Shevchenko University of Kyiv. He also received UAH 103,000 in pension.

The couple keeps $65,000 and €42,000 in cash. The MP declared a lot of other valuable property: a library of scientific literature with about three thousand copies of books on the subject of law, as well as a collection of coins and banknotes of 2 thousand copies. His wife also owns four paintings and a tapestry.
