Every year in Ukraine, the number of years of insurance experience required for retirement by age increases. Given this, many Ukrainians have to look for ways to buy additional insurance experience in order to be able to receive their pension on time or increase its size.
To acquire additional insurance experience, it is necessary to conclude an agreement on voluntary participation in the pension insurance system with the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU). The PFU portal has a special tool that allows you to make contributions in just a few steps.
Who is the service available to?
You can purchase additional insurance experience:
- People who work abroad but wish to receive a pension in Ukraine;
- Persons of pre-retirement age who do not have enough experience to receive a pension;
- Citizens with low official income who want to increase their future pension.
You can use this service both for yourself and for another person who is not a pensioner.
How to use the service?
- Log in to your personal account on the PFU portal using a qualified electronic signature (QES), Diya.Pypisa or the GOV.ID system.
- Select the “Communication with PFU” and click “Voluntary Participation Agreement” .
- Enter the personal details of the person for whom the contribution is being made (full name, tax number, passport series and number, date of birth). If you are paying for yourself, select the appropriate option and enter the required information.
- Consent to data processing and confirm the entered information.
- Sign the contract with an electronic signature and click “Sign and pay” .
- Pay contributions through convenient payment services such as Portmone or money order.
This allows you to officially increase your insurance experience for future retirement.
