The National Commission, which continues state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities (NERCEP), considers the possibility of a significant increase in minimum marginal prices in the electricity market. They can be increased almost 100 times, and this decision may come into force in the summer of 2025.
This is stated in the letter of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine to the NERCEP, which is at the disposal of the UAPROM.
The Federation of Employers of Ukraine called on the NERCEP to provide an explanation for the planned increase in the Primeskeeps in the market "per day" and the internal market from 10 UAH/MW · h to more than 1000 UAH/MWh. According to the Federation, such an increase will lead to annual financial losses for Ukrainian enterprises in the amount of more than UAH 6.2 billion.
The Federation noted that the setting of minimum electricity prices is non -competitive and European countries do not apply similar practices. This question the initiative with European standards for regulating energy markets.
In addition, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine demanded the cancellation of the decision of the NERCEP of December 19, 2024 No. 2200, which set a new tariff for services for the transfer of electricity of NEC "Ukrenergo" for 2025. According to this decision, the tariff will be increased by almost 30%. The Federation states that such a decision is unjustified and opaque, which further complicates the financial situation of enterprises.
Closing electricity trading and reducing market transparency
In the second half of 2024, Ukraine's restrictions were introduced in Ukraine. On December 30, 2024, referring to martial law, JSC "Market Operator" stopped publishing information about the bidding in the market "a day in advance" and the domestic market. The Ukrainian Energy Exchange also closed free access to auction ballots and weighted average prices.
We will remind, on the eve of dismissal from Ukrenergo the expert of the company Vladimir Kudrytsky, immediately for several private companies were provided by the State Guards of Financing. Among these firms were the enterprises of the family of Khmelnitsky MSEC Khmelnytsky MSEC and the former high -ranking official of the SPFU Alexander Vizir. While cereals are already suspicious and is in a pre -trial detention center, Vyru is still out of NABU.
