According to available information, the judge of the State Court of Kyiv, Tamara Trofymenko, refused to comment on the expediency of this purchase in the midst of a full-scale war and the origin of the wealth, advising journalists to contact the press secretary and fled from the meeting hall.
According to journalists, in July 2023 she was able to purchase a brand new VOLVO XC60 car for 64 thousand US dollars or 2.4 million UAH. In addition, in 2020 she became the owner of a Subaru Forester for more than one million hryvnias (about 38 thousand US dollars). In the declaration of the judge, the journalists of the StopCor publication discovered a number of real estate objects registered to family members. Correspondents' attempts to communicate with the judge proved futile. In addition to the question of buying a car, they inquired about her attitude to the initiative to liquidate the State Court. However, Tamara Trofymenko left all questions "No comments", advised reporters to contact the press service, collected her things and moved from the courtroom to another room.
Earlier it was reported that Judge Trofymenko may become the subject of a disciplinary process due to actions that indicate a possible conflict of interest, in connection with the fact that she made decisions in favor of lawyer Pavlo Chepurda, who was her confidant. These facts can be a serious basis for consideration by the VKKSU and VRP and can initiate proceedings in the NAKC regarding Trofymenko. The correspondents learned that Tamara Trofymenko will undergo an evaluation in the near future, so the activists of the NGO "Stop Corruption" plan to apply to the Supreme Court of Ukraine for additional verification of the above-mentioned facts during the evaluation of the judge.
