Shooting in the center of Kiev: a drunk man opened fire on a passerby

In the center of Kiev, on Bohdan Khmelnitsky Street, a drunk man provoked a conflict with a passerby, which ended with shooting. This was reported by Kyiv police.

The event took place in the evening, March 3, on Bohdan Khmelnitsky Street. The police addressed the police and reported that he had heard a dispute between men, and later firing. According to the chief of the Shevchenko Police Department Igor Padyuk, a sudden conflict took place between two local residents.

The attacker provoked a conflict with the passerby and began to touch him for his clothes. During the subsequent push, the person pulled out a traumatic gun and fired two shots up. The 49-year-old arrow was detained at the scene and removed the crime instrument

The offender was informed of the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism), he faces up to 7 years in prison.
