In Khmelnytskyi, a student applied to the Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support (TCK and SP) to obtain a deferment, but was mobilized instead. The incident occurred in February 2025, when a student at Podolsk State University applied to the TCK with a request to defer service, but received a mobilization order.
The CCC justified its decision by saying that the student's application was submitted after the start of conscription and contained errors. However, the court found that the CCC had no reason to mobilize the student, as he is a full-time student, which is grounds for deferment from service.
The court also noted that the CCC had not provided convincing evidence that the student had applied for a deferment after the start of mobilization. As a result, the court annulled the military service order and declared the student's mobilization illegal.
