Until December 30, students and scientists will not be able to use the Reserve+ application to apply for deferment from mobilization. This is due to the technical work required to update the system and improve its functionality. Official representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine warned that this period will limit access to some services, in particular for those who plan to postpone or change their mobilization status.
This was announced by the Ministry of Defense in Telegram. "Due to technical work in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education from December 17 to approximately December 30, students, graduate students and doctoral students will temporarily be unable to apply for an online postponement in the Rezerv+ application," the message reads.
At the same time, already received deferrals will not be affected by technical work, the status will be displayed in the application, as before. Also, technical work in the education register will not affect the work of other Rezerv+ services.
Reserve+ will be notified immediately about the early restoration of the service.
Reserve+ application
In November, the Rezerv+ application began testing online deferment for certain categories of Ukrainians, including students and graduate students.
On December 3, the Verkhovna Rada took a step toward automatic acceptance of 17-year-old citizens for military registration, Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov announced. "Parliament supported in the first reading an important draft law, thanks to which citizens of Ukraine will automatically register for military service when they reach the age of 17," Umyerov said.
