Ukrainian farmers and households have received new opportunities for financial support from the state. The government has introduced grant programs for farmers and subsidies for the population that needs help with heating.
Subsidies for farmers
The state provides financial support to farmers who keep cows, goats, or sheep:
- 7 thousand hryvnias for each cow for those who have from 3 to 100 heads;
- 2 thousand hryvnias for each goat or sheep for farmers who keep from 5 to 500 heads.
To submit an application, you must:
- Enter the State Agrarian Register .
- Fill out the questionnaire and attach the relevant documents.
Applications can be submitted by farmers from all regions of Ukraine, except for temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities .
Ukrainians who do not have centralized heating or do not use gas or electricity for heating can receive a housing subsidy or a benefit for the purchase of solid fuel (firewood, coal).
Who is eligible for a subsidy?
- Low-income families who cannot pay for heating on their own.
Who can benefit from the benefits?
- War veterans.
- Victims of the Chernobyl disaster.
- Large families.
- Other categories of citizens defined by law.
You can receive assistance once a year after a personal application. To do this, you must submit:
- Application and declaration (for subsidy).
- Application and certificate of availability of stove heating (for benefits).
