On the night of September 21, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a successful operation, striking important Russian military facilities. The strikes on the Defense Ministry arsenal in the Tver region and the airfield in the Kaluga region were significant achievements for Ukrainian forces.
At night, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine struck the 23rd arsenal of the Main Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense near the village of Oktyabrsky, Tver Region, where artillery and missile weapons for the Iskander operational-tactical missile systems and the Tochka-U tactical missile systems were stored, and also struck the infrastructure of the Shaykovka military airfield in the Kaluga Region.
This night, SBU drones organized a “cotton” at the 23rd arsenal of the Main Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense near the village of Oktyabrsky, Tver region. Artillery and missile weapons for the Iskander operational-tactical missile systems and the Tochka-U tactical missile systems were stored there. After the drones arrived, detonation began at the warehouse, five fire centers were recorded
SBU drones also struck the infrastructure of the Shaykovka military airfield (Kaluga region), where TU-22M strategic aviation aircraft are stationed, which regularly bombard Ukraine.
“The SBU, together with all the Defense Forces of Ukraine, is systematically reducing the enemy’s missile and artillery potential. This week we have already blown up a large arsenal in Toropets, Tver Region. Today it is the turn of the next largest warehouse – one of the enemy’s important logistical points, where ammunition for strikes on Ukraine was stored. The season of “falling debris” is in full swing,” the source added.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two military arsenals of the Russian Armed Forces – in the Krasnodar Territory and in the Tver Region.
