In Khmelnitsky, the court elected a preventive measure of the Vice -Rector for Material Support of the National Academy of the Bohdan Khmelnytsky State Border Service of Ukraine. According to the court decision, the suspect was taken into custody with the possibility of making a bail of UAH 454,000.

Investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation detained Colonel Peter Tkachuk on suspicion of committing a number of crimes, in particular:

the use of academy cadets for the construction of a private house;

The appropriation of property owned by a higher education institution.
Law enforcement officers have already informed the official of the suspicion. He is currently in the detention center, but may be liberty if the pledge defined by the court.
