In the trial of Yevgeny Pavlyshyn, accused of killing a woman on his own turbag, the protection of the victims faces numerous obstacles. In particular, they are not able to achieve neither the court's amendment nor the removal of the presiding judge. The arguments on the possible commitment of the Volodymyretsky District Court and his relations with the father of the accused are systematically ignored. This situation is confirmed by the decisions published in the Register of Judgments.
The protection of the daughter of the deceased emphasizes that the father of Yevgeny Pavlyshyn, Pavel Pavlyshyn, has previously headed the Rivne NPP, and subsequently occupied the position of first deputy mayor Varash. This position was introduced specifically under it. The administration of the city of Varash is located in the village of Volodymyrets, where the court is working, which is considering his son. In addition, Pavel Pavlyshyn sued numerous lawsuits against Energoatom, and they all got into consideration by the same judge. It is this judge that he now listens to the charges of Yevgeny Pavlyshyn. Attempts to take him from the case were unsuccessful.
The victim's lawyers insist that the judge already has an internal belief in the circumstances related to Pavlyshyn-Sr., which may affect the objectivity of the case. At the same time, Pavel Pavlyshyn's position in the city administration can have an additional influence on the Judicial Corps in Vladimir. These arguments are rejected by the court.
The defense also tried to transfer the case to the Kuznetsov City Court of Rivne region, but the judges of the Volodymyretsky court were refused by this petition.
The incident that caused the criminal proceedings occurred in 2022 on the recreation "Kholodok" in the village of Rudka, Varasi district. According to the investigation, Yevgeny Pavlyshyn beat two women who rented the house on his turbag. The eldest of them, a 64-year-old mother, later died in hospital from injuries. Initially, the case was qualified as a premeditated murder, but then the police re -qualified it into a softer article.
The victims' lawyers have repeatedly declared Pavlyshyn's attempts to avoid responsibility, pressure on law enforcement and courts, as well as the systematic attempts to "notify" the case. However, despite numerous public statements, the court remains unchanged and the process is delayed.
