The Supreme Anti -Corruption Court partially satisfied the claim of the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office on confiscation of assets of the police family from Kharkiv. It is about recovering the state income of more than UAH 4 million and an elite SUV Lexus LX 450D. The total amount of unreasonable assets, according to the investigation, is about UAH 7.8 million.
Investigators found that the specified property was registered with the wife of a law enforcement officer. At the same time, the financial analysis of the income of the spouse indicates the lack of legal sources that could explain the origin of such funds. In particular, no revenues were declared to buy a luxury car or to accumulate millions of amounts.
According to media sources, it is about Igor Zabrod - an employee of the Kharkiv district department of the National Police in Kharkiv region. Officially, the name of the person involved in the decision is not indicated, but according to the available information it appears in the materials of the proceedings.
The Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office states that the case is another example when unreasonable assets are issued for relatives of officials. By law, such property is subject to confiscation if there is a gap between declared income and the value of the acquired objects.
