The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv decided to hand over to the Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) the land plots that were owned by ex-Nardeputy Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak through proxies.
As the head of ARMA Olena Duma reported, the court decision includes the transfer of not only land plots, but also corporate rights to several companies. In particular, these are PE "Orest", LLC "Osokorky-7", LLC "Academ-Club", PE "Firma 'Viktoria'", as well as land plots with a total area of more than 49 hectares.
Olena Duma noted that ARMA has already received the corresponding letter from the prosecutor and the decision of the investigating judge. Currently, ARMA plans to conduct an inspection of this property and announce a tender for the selection of an appraiser for further asset management.
The move is part of a wide-ranging operation that began back in June, when a court seized additional assets belonging to the Medvedchuk and Kozak brothers. This included land plots, corporate rights, property complexes and transport of four enterprises in Lviv.
Also, in July, ARMA took over the management of real estate, corporate rights and motor vehicles of three enterprises in the Lviv region, as well as non-residential premises in Kyiv.
It should be noted that in June of this year, law enforcement officers exposed former people's deputies for large-scale financial fraud.
