The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal confirmed the legitimacy of changing the status of the landmark "Hostynny dvor" from local to national importance. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
The court did not satisfy the appeal of "Ukrrestavratsiya" LLC regarding the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court dated August 3, 2023 in the case initiated by "Ukrrestavratsiya"'s lawsuit against the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy. The lawsuit related to the recognition as unlawful and invalid of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 19, 2021 No. 506 "On changing the category of monuments of cultural heritage" in the part of the recategorization of the monument "Hostinny dvor (according to the project materials of L. Ruska district, 1809)" to sq. Kontraktova, 4 in the city of Kyiv for the category of national significance.
According to the report, the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court dated August 3, 2023, which took into account the arguments of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Justice about the groundlessness of the claims in the lawsuit and confirmed the legality of the transition of the landmark "Hostynny dvor" from local to national significance, has entered into force .
As a reminder, in June 2021, the State Property Fund of Ukraine handed over the "Hostine Dvor" to the management of the Moscow State University, and in May the government changed the category of monuments to "Contract Square Building Complex" and "Hostine Dvor (according to the design materials of L. Ruska district, 1809) .)" in the city of Kyiv to the category of national importance, assigning them appropriate security numbers.
