Former acting Natalia Abramenkova, Director of the Regional Clinical Center of Medical and Social Expertise (MSEC) of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was found guilty of deliberately indisputable significant assets in the declaration for 2023. The cost of hidden property was over UAH 3.2 million. However, instead of a strict punishment - the court appointed only 51 thousand hryvnias a fine and an annual ban on holding management positions in medical institutions.
This is evidenced by the judgment of the court under Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code, to which the edition 368.Media refers.
By October 2024, Abramenkova headed a key institution that defines disability groups in the region. But, as it turned out, she despised the duties of a civil servant: in her declaration did not specify three apartments (total cost of more than UAH 1.7 million), the Hyundai Tucson car in 2016 worth UAH 853 thousand, the salary of a man - more than UAH 280 thousand, as well as more than UAH 300 thousand.
In court, Abramenkov confessed to deliberate violation and stated that she sought to avoid controlling property. The defense appealed to the absence of previous convictions, the presence of the child and his positive reputation as a doctor. This helped to avoid more serious consequences.
However, journalists drew attention to even more flashy facts. In 2019, Abramenkova's son-then another 20-year-old Denis-purchased an apartment and a non-residential premises at the prestigious River Park in Dnipro. In the same year, Natalia was part of the competition commission for the selection of the head of the regional MSEC. In 2021-the family got a suburban real estate in the village of Balaivka. At the same time, two more apartments appeared in the elite LCD "Granny": one was officially recorded on Natalia, the other - on a man, but she never got into the declaration.
It is also striking that law enforcement officers did not check the sources of funding for numerous purchases of the Abramenkov family and did not initiate the confiscation of illegally acquired property. Therefore, despite the guilt - the former MSEC head was a slight punishment, and its wealth remained intact.
Today, Natalia Abramenkova works as a regular hospital for war veterans. However, her past is an example of how corruption at the highest levels of medical examination remains unpunished.
