The Brovarsky District Court of Kyiv region issued a sentence to a 54-year-old man who shot two people in a state of alcohol intoxication. For a double premeditated murder, the court imposed a sentence of 15 years in prison. The police of Kyiv region reported.
The tragedy occurred in March 2022 in one of the settlements of the Brovarsky district. The couple came to a friend with greetings. The house also had a cohabitant who was drunk. When the guests were going to go, the man suddenly got a hunting rifle and opened fire.
He shot a man in his chest and then into a woman's neck. Both were killed before the arrival of doctors.
Investigators of the Brovarsky District Police Department of the Kyiv region, together with the regional prosecutor's office, informed the attacker about suspicion under Article 115, paragraph 2, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - the premeditated murder of two persons.
The case was brought to court, and after consideration of the materials of the attacker was found guilty. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison. He is now in custody.
