Judges and prosecutors receive pensions up to 390 thousand, and most Ukrainians survive for 5800

The official average pension in Ukraine today is about 5800 UAH. But this figure does not reveal the true picture - under beautiful statistics hides deep injustice, where the chosen are received hundreds of thousands, and millions - fight for survival.

Judges

Judges receive the biggest pensions. According to official data, the amount of their payments can reach 390 thousand hryvnias per month. Even the smallest pensions in the TOP-20 are at least 320 thousand hryvnias. These amounts are paid for life, at the expense of taxpayers.

Prosecutors

Ex-prosecutors ranges from 119 to 219 thousand hryvnias a month. Among the record holders:

  • Stanislav Muratov - former deputy head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to open sources, has one of the largest prosecutors in the country.

  • Andriy Kravchenko - in 2023 he declared more than UAH 1 million of pension payments.

  • Vladimir Limar - received 714 thousand hryvnias for a year, ie almost 60 thousand monthly.

MPs

Although the pensions of most ex-peoples do not reach judicial or prosecutors, they are also much higher than the country's average. One of the former deputies receives 245 thousand hryvnias a month. Most - payments from 21 to 60 thousand.

Miners and other hazardous occupations

Shakhtar's maximum pension, which spent all his life in the dungeon, is 29 thousand hryvnias. This is less than the minimum payments of ex-prosecutors. And most pensioners in Ukraine receive no more than UAH 7,000 on a monthly basis.

Formally, the state declares social justice and equality, but the pension system actually consolidates the caste division. The biggest payments are those who have power and access to resources, while ordinary workers - doctors, teachers, miners - receive ten times less.

It is not an exception, but a systematic policy that has been working for the benefit of elites for decades. The question is not only in Sumy, but in principles: the pension system has ceased to be a tool for supporting those who really need it.
